Guided by a passion for authentic flavors and traditional cooking, he set out to serve the finest Michoacán-style carnitas. From those modest beginnings, Carnitas Don Raúl grew into a beloved local landmark.

Today, Carnitas Don Raúl is a proud family-run business that connects our roots in Morelia to San Antonio, Texas. While we have expanded, our core mission remains unchanged. We still slow-cook our carnitas in classic copper pots, utilizing generational methods and the exact recipe passed down by Don Raúl himself. Every bite reflects our dedication to quality, heritage, and the rich culinary history of Michoacán.
